Former Liverpool and Chelsea full-back Glen Johnson has backed Anfield as a better fit for Bournemouth midfielder Alex Scott amid a reported £100 million transfer battle.
Johnson, who played for both Liverpool and Chelsea, believes the Merseyside club would suit the player more than rival suitors.
Arsenal are also understood to be interested in the Bournemouth midfielder, setting up a potential high-value transfer contest.
