Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson has been placed in the NFL's concussion protocol, according to a report from USA TODAY Sports on Wednesday.
The news was reported by Ryan Dodson on November 4, 2026. Watson's status for upcoming games remains uncertain while he progresses through the league's mandated return-to-play procedures.
The concussion protocol requires players to complete a multi-step process before being cleared for full participation, including symptom monitoring, cognitive testing, and gradual return to physical activity under medical supervision.
