Spanish tennis player Paula Badosa has spoken about her future following the conclusion of her 2026 season, describing the campaign as one that "tested my patience." The former world number two ended her season earlier than planned after retiring from her final tournament appearance.
Badosa, who has battled injury issues throughout the year, addressed her situation on Thursday, acknowledging the difficulties she faced over the past months. The 27-year-old's season was marked by inconsistent form and physical setbacks that limited her tournament schedule.
Despite the frustrating campaign, Badosa indicated she remains focused on returning stronger for the 2027 season. She did not specify a timeline for her return to competition but emphasized her determination to overcome the challenges that defined her current season.
