Bournemouth came from behind to beat 10-man Sparta Prague 3-1 on Thursday, maintaining their perfect record in the Europa League with a fourth consecutive victory.

Gambian forward Ebrima Singhateh gave Sparta the lead with a fine individual goal after Lewis Cook hit the post with a first-half penalty. Tobias Guddal was sent off before half-time, and Tyler Adams equalised for Bournemouth on 57 minutes. Substitutes Evanilson and Rayan scored late to secure the win. Manager Marco Rose's side have now won seven straight matches in all competitions ahead of a Premier League trip to Ipswich.

AC Milan suffered a third defeat in four Europa League matches, losing 2-0 at home to Ferencvaros. Haiti international Lenny Joseph struck twice in the second half for the Hungarian side, who kept pace with Bournemouth at the top of the standings. Milan manager Ruben Amorim described the performance as "very poor" and admitted his team "gifted opportunities" and made "stupid errors".

Benfica stayed top of the table on goal difference after a 3-1 home win over Lech Poznan, with goals from Rafa Silva, Gianluca Prestianni and Georgiy Sudakov. Bayer Leverkusen dropped their first points in a 1-0 loss to Marseille, while Crystal Palace snatched a 1-1 draw against Hoffenheim thanks to Daichi Kamada's stoppage-time equaliser.

Sunderland's unbeaten Europa League start ended with a 2-0 home defeat to Dinamo Zagreb. Celtic claimed their first points with a thrilling 3-2 win over Besiktas, as substitute Camilo Duran netted twice. Juventus beat AZ Alkmaar 2-1 away, with Teun Koopmeiners and Randal Kolo Muani on target.

In the Conference League, Brighton edged past Getafe 1-0 in Spain courtesy of a Malick Yalcouye header. Ajax thrashed Midtjylland 6-1 in Denmark, while Hearts remain winless after a 3-1 loss to Thun.
