The Seattle Kraken have opened the 2026-27 NHL season with a strong record, but their penalty kill has been a concern early on. Through the first weeks of November, the team sits near the top of the standings while allowing opponents to convert on the power play at a high rate.
Coaching staff are focusing on defensive structure and goaltending to address the issue before it impacts the team's winning momentum.
