The Connecticut Interscholastic Athletic Conference (CIAC) has announced that the 2026 football state championships will be held on December 11 and 12 at two venues: Veterans Stadium in New Britain and Trumbull High School.
The schedule was confirmed on Wednesday, with the championship games set to take place across both locations. Veterans Stadium hosted the 2025 Class L final, where New Canaan defeated Cheshire on December 13, 2025, as seen in a photo of New Canaan head coach Lou Marinelli celebrating with his players.
