Denver Nuggets forward Aaron Gordon delivered a pointed message to Golden State Warriors rookie Yaxel Lendeborg during NBA media day activities at Ball Arena on September 28, 2026. The veteran player's comments, characterized as a "humbling warning," came as both teams prepared for the upcoming season.
Gordon, entering his ninth NBA season, addressed reporters during the Nuggets' media session. The specific content of his remarks toward Lendeborg was not detailed in available reports. Lendeborg, a first-year player with the Warriors, was participating in his initial NBA media day experience.
The interaction highlights the veteran-rookie dynamic that often emerges during preseason preparations. Both the Nuggets and Warriors are expected to be competitive in the Western Conference for the 2026-27 campaign.
