Manchester United manager Michael Carrick has insisted there are "no issues" with captain Bruno Fernandes after the midfielder was left out of the starting lineup for the match against Bournemouth.
Fernandes, who has worn the armband for the club, was dropped for the Premier League fixture, prompting speculation about his relationship with the coaching staff. Carrick, speaking after the game, dismissed any suggestion of a rift.
"There are no issues with Bruno," Carrick said. "He remains fully committed to the team and will continue as captain."
