Cleveland Browns offensive coordinator Todd Monken kept quarterback Deshaun Watson in the game despite the Pittsburgh Steelers sacking him eight times during a blowout loss on November 2, 2026.
The Steelers' pass rush dominated the matchup, repeatedly bringing down Watson as Cleveland struggled to protect its quarterback. Monken's decision not to bench Watson drew scrutiny as the Browns fell further behind.
Watson finished the game under heavy pressure, and the loss highlighted ongoing concerns about the Browns' offensive line and quarterback play.
