The Boston Celtics and Chicago Bulls are set to meet Friday in NBA Cup group stage action, according to The Associated Press. The contest marks a key early-season matchup between two Eastern Conference rivals as the league's in-season tournament continues.
Both teams enter the game looking to build momentum in group play. The Celtics, coming off a championship season, aim to defend their title while integrating new roster pieces. The Bulls seek to establish consistency in a competitive conference landscape.
The NBA Cup, now in its second season, features all 30 teams divided into groups for pool play before advancing to knockout rounds. Friday's game tips off as part of a full slate of group stage fixtures across the league.
