The Baltimore Orioles have parted ways with first baseman Ryan Mountcastle and outfielder Heston Kjerstad, according to a report by Paul Folkemer for SB Nation published on November 3, 2026. The roster moves signal a significant shift for the Orioles' lineup heading into the offseason.
Mountcastle, who wore number 6, and Kjerstad, number 13, were teammates as recently as June 27, 2024, when they celebrated a victory together at Oriole Park at Camden Yards against the Texas Rangers. The specific nature of the transactions — whether trades, releases, or non-tenders — was not detailed in the initial report.
