Former UFC featherweight Artem Lobov has launched a scathing attack on his former teammate and friend Conor McGregor, stating that the Irish superstar "took care of nobody."
Lobov, who fought alongside McGregor at SBG Ireland, made the remarks in an interview published on November 3, 2026. The Russian-born fighter did not elaborate on the specific grievances but the comment suggests a significant fallout between the two.
The pair were once close, with McGregor cornering Lobov during his unanimous-decision victory over Teruto Ishihara at UFC Fight Night in Belfast on November 19, 2016. A photo from that night shows the two celebrating together at the SSE Arena.
Since leaving the UFC, Lobov has competed in bare-knuckle boxing while McGregor has pursued high-profile boxing and MMA bouts. The reason for their apparent estrangement remains unclear.
