An injured Miami Dolphins cornerback will not be activated from the physically unable to perform (PUP) list in time for Week 9 of the NFL season, according to Dolphins Wire. The player, whose name was not disclosed in the initial report, continues his rehabilitation and remains sidelined as the team prepares for its upcoming matchup.
The Dolphins' secondary has been managing depth concerns throughout the season, and the cornerback's continued absence adds to the defensive backfield challenges. Miami's coaching staff has not provided a specific timeline for the player's return to practice or game action.
