A recent report has connected the Philadelphia 76ers with a potential draft selection of Bryce James, the son of NBA superstar LeBron James, though the accompanying quote from LeBron may not carry the meaning some have suggested.
Bryce James, wearing No. 6 for the Arizona Wildcats, appeared in the 2026 NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament Final Four at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis on April 4, 2026. The 76ers' interest, if confirmed, would mark a notable storyline given LeBron James' longstanding presence in the league.
Details surrounding the specific quote attributed to LeBron James and the 76ers' draft plans remain limited. The situation continues to develop ahead of the 2026 NBA Draft.
